Coca-Cola Refreshments in Erie and Country Fair earlier today donated $5,000 and several thousand pounds of food to the Second Harvest Food Bank to help families this holiday season.
Since November, Country Fair stores have collected nonperishable items for the Second Harvest Food Bank at each of its locations. In addition, Coca-Cola has donated $1 from the purchase of any two Coca-Cola brand 12-packs to Second Harvest to help provide food to those in need. Country Fair also accepted monetary donations from customers and encouraged patrons to donate their time to the food bank.
The Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania is the largest nonprofit food distribution organization in the Erie region, serving 72,600 individuals in 11 counties.
