An Erie man was included in a national story about how staff reductions have hurt Walmart’s ability to keep shelves stocked at its more than 4,600 U.S. stores. The story was featured in BusinessWeek on March 28.
The story, written by Renee Dudley, included the comments of 26-year-old meat and dairy stocker Anthony Falletta, who works at an unspecified Erie area Walmart. “The merchandise is in the store; it just can’t make the jump from the shelf in the back to the one in the front. There’s not the people to do it,” he told BusinessWeek.
