Erie accountant settles charges with SEC

Malcolm Pollard, a Certified Public Accountant who does business at 4845 West Lake Road, has been charged with substandard work and breaking securities laws.

The Securities and Exchange Commission said it has charged Pollard and two auditors from California with numerous deficiencies related to their auditing work.

Pollard and the two other auditors have all settled the actions against them by agreeing to stop doing any accounting work for any publicly traded company or any firm regulated by the SEC.
