Quaker Steak & Lube moves into Canada

Sharon-based Quaker Steak & Lube, which has a franchise on Peach Street, has gone global with the opening of its first restaurant in Toronto.
The Lube, known for its automotive theme, popular bike nights and chicken wings, recently opened its first Canadian restaurant in Toronto’s Rogers Centre, home to the Toronto Blue Jays.
The company, which built its first location 35 years ago in a former service station in Mercer County, owns or franchises 34 restaurants in 13 states and Canada.
Company officials say they’re looking next at locating a Quaker Steak & Lube in Asia.
