There will be an open house this evening to show off the renovations that were recently completed at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Summit Township. Scott Enterprises Inc., the hotel’s owner, recently spent $1.5 million to convert the hotel into a residential-style suites hotel with new carpeting, décor, shower curtains, soft seating, granite countertops in the kitchen. Each suite now includes a flat-screen television.
The open house for the hotel, located at the Interstate 90 Exit 24 (Peach Street), is from 5 to 7 p.m.
