The Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership has been awarded $385,000 on behalf of eight counties by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.

The money was awarded through the Discovered & Developed in Pennsylvania program and will be used to support programs and services developed by economic development groups in northwestern Pennsylvania.

The program, which focuses on helping existing businesses grow, was designed to spur creativity and innovation while moving new technologies into the marketplace.
