Gas prices climb a dime a gallon in Erie

Was $3.35 a gallon the year’s low point? It is looking more likely now that prices have jumped another 10 cents a gallon at many Erie area stations. The most common price posted is now $3.55 for a gallon of unleaded regular.
Gas prices are now up 20 cents since late June, when a gallon of unleaded bottomed out at $3.35 locally.
Gas prices have been climbing across the nation, reflecting increases in the international oil market and growing tensions in the Middle East.
