Edinboro’s Crossroads Dinor cleared to open

The Crossroads Dinor, located at routes 6N and 99 in Edinboro, has been licensed to open by the Erie County Department of Health.

The restaurant, a landmark that first opened in 1929, has been closed since December 2009.

Bruce Leveto, president of Builders Support & Supply Inc., of Saegertown, purchased the diner at an Erie County Sheriff’s sale for $385,650. The restaurant will be operated by his son, Garret Leveto.

The diner is expected to open today at 4 p.m.
