Gas prices climb 10 cents a gallon in Erie

Prices at the pump are climbing to $3.69 for a gallon of unleaded regular, the highest price in four months.
Prices jumped 10 cents a gallon at many Erie area stations this morning, the third price hike in as many weeks.
A month ago we were paying $3.49, according to AAA Fuel Gauge.
Gasoline prices have been marching upward since late May, when they hit a low of $3.29 in Erie. The federal government’s forecasters don’t expect prices to move far beyond this level for the rest of the year, and we shouldn’t return to the highs we had in March, when prices here hit $3.99 a gallon.
A year ago, the average price in Erie was $3.63.
