The new Taco Bell at 118 E. 12th St. will host a grand-opening celebration Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In addition to tacos, there will be a cast of characters there offering free stuff. Clutch the mascot will be on site with tickets to Erie BayHawks games. Shooter, the Erie Otters mascot, will be there giving away tickets for hockey games. The Eriesistables cheerleaders will be on site with tickets for Erie Explosion games. And Speedy, the Lake Erie Speedway mascot, will be handing out race tickets.
