Erie County Executive Barry Grossman’s August “Excel Award” went to KeyStone Research Corp.
He presented it to the firm on Aug. 20.
KeyStone Research is a woman-owned research and consulting organization that was founded in 1980 by Joyce A. Miller. The company has eight employees.
Grossman, who created the award to honor area businesses that go above and beyond to contribute to Erie County, chose KeyStone Research Corp. because it has assisted many local organizations in their own growth and development, thereby contributing to the sustainability of organizations, economic development, and job growth. Specifically, KSRC’s research and organizational development services have been provided to: Arts Erie, the Housing Authority of the City of Erie, Mission Empower, GECAC, Nurturing Hearts, the United Way, Community Shelter Services, SafeNet, Erie Dawn, Stairways Behavioral Health, the Erie Community Foundation, the Regional Center for Workforce Excellence, Erie County Department of Health, and the Northwest Institute of Research.
Among the companies previously honored was Scott Enterprises.
