Lord Corp. to mark 50 years in Saegertown
State and local officials will be joined by Rick McNeel, chief executive of Lord Corp., Tuesday afternoon for the 50th anniversary of the company’s Saegertown plant.
The plant, located at 601 South Street, opened its doors in 1962. The company, which also has a facility in Cambridge Springs and two in the Erie area, produces adhesives, coatings and chemicals at the Saegertown location.
Speakers include state Sen. Bob Robbins of Greenville and Saegertown Mayor Dave Myers.
The event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m.
