Corry edition of ‘Restaurant: Impossible’ set to air

Mark your calendars and set your DVRs. The Food Network’s “Restaurant: Impossible,” featuring Michele’s restaurant in Corry, will air at 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Chef Robert Irvine, a designer, a builder and a team of volunteers spent $10,000 and two days in June to remake the restaurant, located at 13230 Route 6.

The owners, Michele and Andew Sventek, are forbidden by contract from speaking with the media before the show airs.

Visitors, however, tell us that the look of the restaurant has improved.

There’s also word that Michele’s, which reopened with a much smaller menu, has returned many of its old offerings to an expanded menu.

A posting on the Food Network drama hints at the drama that will unfold in Corry:

“In two days, Robert must choose a new cook, teach Michele basic management skills, refurbish the interior, and address Andy’s critical and harsh attitude.”

The show airs on Channel 48 on Time Warner Cable.
