There’s no jacket required, but you will have to make reservations to eat tonight at the Chick-fil-A on Peach Street.
A few days on the heel’s of Mother’s Day, the restaurant is sponsoring Mother-Son Date Knight.
Date Knight, spelled K-N-I-G-H-T, is a nod to the evening’s medieval-themed activities, which will include period decorations and a chance to take photos by a six-foot tall knight in shining armor.
Guests, who will be given materials to make a family crest, will also receive free balloon swords and wrist corsages.
Customers, who can make reservations online for seatings at 4:30, 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30, will be waited on at their tables. For reservations, visit www.mothersondate.com.
Normal prices will apply for the restaurant chicken, side dishes and salads, but the entertainment is free as are other materials and activities.
“One of Chick-fil-A’s goals is to promote community connections and enrich the lives of everyone come in contact with,” said Carter Tucker, interim manager of the local restaurant.
