Cheaper cup of coffee

Morning doesn’t start for some people until they’ve had coffee.

I’m not a coffee drinker, but a co-worker who is told me about a way to save money if you use a single-cup brewer.

To make your beverage with a Keurig brewer, you need a K-Cup that comes with a single serving of coffee. The cost of a K-Cup varies, depending on where you get it, the kind and how many you buy. Some that I found were about 60 cents each.

There’s something called a My-Kap, a reuseable lid that helps you to also reuse a K-Cup multiple times. You refill the single-serving container with your own, possibly cheaper, brand of ground coffee and seal it with the lid before putting it in the brewer.

You can find the lids at www.my-kap.com. One is $4.99, plus $3 shipping and handling to Erie.

Anyone know of other ways to save money on your morning java?
