Benefits of having friends
The annual Friends of the Library Speaker Series presents a free program each Saturday this month at 10 a.m. at McCord Memorial Library, 32 W. Main St., North East.
The first in the series is a talk tomorrow on the Underground Railroad. Andrew Adamus, education and outreach director of the Erie County Historical, will discuss the efforts of locals plus myths and legends surrounding the Underground Railroad, according to the library website.
