Trio shows roots in free noontime performance

Penn State Behrend’s next free noon concert is Wednesday.

This edition of Music at Noon will feature Silver Roots, which includes Michael Haas on cello, Maria Millar on violin and Shawn Wyckoff on flute. The trio’s repertoire spans 400 years of classical music and folk traditions from 15 countries, according to a news release from Behrend.

The concert will begin Wednesday at noon in McGarvey Commons of the Reed Union Building on the Harborcreek Township campus and is part of the college’s Logan Series.
