Friend Melissa shared that she recently ordered air fresheners online at www.walmart.com because she couldn’t find the ones she wanted in stores.

First, because her order totaled more than $45, she got free shipping.

But equally exciting, when the order arrived, she found a bag of free samples tucked inside. Melissa said there was a facial wipe, a hair spray, a couple shampoos, a conditioner, lotion, body spray, a hair product for men, a refresh spray and foundation.

Since it was her first time ordering from Walmart.com, she’s not sure if this was a fluke, a one-time bonus or an every-time thing. I couldn’t find anything on the site that says you get freebies with an order.

I do know that if you do a search for “samples” on the Walmart site, you’ll usually find a few things you can get for free. This week’s offerings included Beneful Baked Delights dog snacks and RevitaLens contact cleaner.
