Head to Mercyhurst University tonight and you can hear either a lecture on toxins in daily living or a talk by actor Peter Coyote.
Coyote, who’s also an author, activist and recently ordained Buddhist priest, will speak at 8:15 p.m. in the school’s Taylor Little Theatre. The free event is part of the university’s Literary Festival. Call (814) 824-2461.
At 8 p.m., Michelle Naccarati-Chapkis, executive director of Women for a Healthy Environment, Pittsburgh, will give a talk on “Healthy Choices, Healthy You: How to Identify Toxins in Our Daily Living” in the Mercy Heritage Room.
