The 2012 Edinboro Art & Music Festival gets under way on Thursday and continues through Saturday.

The free festival at various sites around Edinboro showcases grassroots art and music in the spirit of the Appalachian culture and tradition, according to the event website at www.edinboroartandmusic.com.
