Give mom gift of her past
An e-mail from Ancestry.com advertised a 20 percent discount in time for you to get your mom a Mother’s Day gift that helps her explore her family’s past.
The offer, which expires May 14, says you’ll save 20 percent on the Family Tree Maker family history software. If you bundle it with an Ancestry.com gift membership, you’ll save 20 percent on each, according to the e-mail.
I did find the Tree Maker discount at http://www.ancestry.com/cs/apps/P-4942?o_xid=50908&o_lid=50908&o_sch=Email. But I didn’t see anything on the website about the bundle offer. However, the e-mail said that you can order by phone at (800) 262-3787, seven days a week from 10 am. to 10 p.m. EST.
