Find free poetry in Erie park

Among numerous events that the Lake Erie Arboretum has scheduled for Frontier Park this summer is Poetry in the Park.

The fourth annual event will take place Saturday from 2 to 9 p.m. in the park at West Eighth Street and the Bayfront Parkway. The poetry celebration will feature Heidi Blakeslee and poets from Poets Hall and the Enhanced Poetry Group.

The event is family friendly, with drinks and pizza provided as well as a free poetry book raffle, according to Lake Erie Arboretum at Frontier Park’s website. Visit www.leaferie.org to learn more.
