Coupon cuts cost of paint tester

Ever bought a bucket of paint and discovered after you put it on the wall that the color really isn’t what you wanted?

I received an e-mail from Glidden offering a discount that will help you avoid such painting disasters.

Glidden’s paint testers are small bottles of paint with a built-in brush in the top. The e-mail said a tester has enough paint to cover three square feet. Or you could use it for a craft project if you aren’t trying out paint colors for a wall.  With a $2-off coupon, you can get up to two paint testers for 94 cents each.

To get the coupon, go to www.glidden.com/collections/b/walmart.do?utm_source=BloggerOutreach&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=testergiveaway&utm_content=Walmart

A couple things to consider — While the site makes it seem like the offer is good at Walmart, when I printed out the coupon it doesn’t say that it could only be used at Walmart. However, the e-mail and website said the offer was valid through Aug. 21 but the coupon I got on Thursday expires Aug. 5.
