Festival celebrates Erie with free entertainment

CelebrateErie gets under way today and runs through Sunday.

Like many festivals, it includes ways for you to spend money, such as buying food. But this event also features lots of free music to hear and artwork to see, including the popular Chalk Walk on State Street. And there’s a fireworks display scheduled for Sunday at 9:30 p.m. over the bayfront.

For a complete schedule, visit www.celebrateerie.com.
