A new shoe store is opening outside the Millcreek Mall on Saturday and the celebration includes giveaways and drawings for free shoes and cash.

The Shoe Carnival store will be located in the Millcreek Plaza off Interchange Road, just south of the actual mall.

The celebration will start Saturday at 9 a.m. and the first 100 customers will receive a $10 reward card to use toward anything in the store, according to a news release.

A drawing for free shoes for a year will take place at 10 a.m. A drawing for $1,000 will take place at 11 a.m. Drawings for $100 Shoe Carnival shopping sprees will take place every hour from noon to 5 p.m., according to the release.
