Harvest celebration includes free activities

It’s the time of year for hay rides, celebrating the harvest and, of course, launching pumpkins.

All three will be happening Saturday in Harborcreek from noon to 5 p.m. at Harborcreek Community Park, Clark and Firman roads.

The Harborcreek Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Harvest Day Celebration there. Admission is free.

The event will include a pumpkin launcher, pumpkin decorating, hay rides, a petting zoo, music and other activities.
