Cash for your children’s candy
A couple of Erie dentists want to pay your kids for their Halloween candy.
The Halloween candy buyback will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Beautiful Smiles, 3219 Peach St. The dentist office will buy trick-or-treat candy from children for $1 per pound up to 5 pounds. Children also will get a goody bag full of healthy snacks.
The candy, which the dentists are collecting in an attempt to limit the effect of too much candy on children’s teeth, will be sent to troops overseas.
