Driving tour searches for birds at peninsula
Here’s another free bird-related program at Presque Isle State Park this weekend.
Birding by Car will be offered Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, starting at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, 301 Peninsula Drive.
A park naturalist will take participants on a driving tour to see what species of birds can be found. Stops will be made at different locations and some will require a short walk, organizers said. Participants should have their own vehicles or be willing to carpool.
