Kings celebrating today with 45-cent pie

What’s better than hot apple pie with cinnamon ice cream? How about hot apple pie with cinnamon ice cream for just 45 cents?

To celebrate its 45th anniversary today, Kings Family Restaurant will be offering the specially priced pie to dine-in customers.

Kings is a western Pennsylvania-based chain of 30 restaurants with locations that include Meadville, Franklin and Grove City.

The restaurants also are offering a gift card deal. You can get an extra $5 in gift cards for every $25 you purchase by Dec. 31, according to the Kings website.
