Ridge Center hosting free holiday event

A visit with Santa, hands-on activities and a movie are all part of TREC the Halls this weekend at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center.

The free event will take place Saturday at the center, 301 Peninsula Drive, Millcreek Township.

The movie “Santa Buddies” will be shown at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the Big Green Screen Theatre, with seats available first come, first served.

Visitors can meet with Santa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Hands-on activities for children will be offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Also, Breakfast with Santa will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., but there is a fee for it. The cost is $8 per person and reservations are required. Call (814) 833-5843 for breakfast reservations.
