Erie Bluffs, Pymatuning offer free snowshoe walks

Two northwestern Pennsylvania state parks are offering separate snowshoe events on Saturday.

An interpretive hike will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Erie Bluffs State Park. Call (814) 833-7424 to learn more.

A moonlight snowshoe walk will be begin at 5:30 p.m. at Pymatuning State Park. Call (724) 932-3142 for information or registration. Preregistration is required by Friday to reserve snowshoes.

Officials said a limited supply of snowshoes will be available for each event or you can take your own. Walk leaders didn’t make any promises about the availability of snow but things are looking good. ;-)
