Free program explains how to help researchers

The Tom Ridge Environmental Center will be the site of an “Introduction to Citizen Science” on Sunday.

At the free program from 1 to 2 p.m., you can learn how to get involved in research projects in which you help scientists. Participation could be as simple as counting birds at a feeder and could occur on a regular basis or one time.

To learn more about the program at the center, 301 Peninsula Drive, call (814) 217-9638.
