Help celebrate Cheap in Erie’s anniversary

Cheap in Erie celebrates its second anniversary today.

The first post went up back on Jan. 31, 2011 (http://www.goerieblogs.com/cheapinerie/2011/01/welcome-to-cheap-in-erie/) and later posts that day told about free coffee at McDonald’s and pet food coupons.

In honor of the milestone, I have a $25 Visa gift card to give away to one lucky person who sends me something for the blog between today and Feb. 28 at noon Eastern time.

Send me your favorite way of saving money, a link to an online freebie or coupon you found, word of a great deal you spotted at a store, restaurant or other site or some other way of spending wisely. You can submit a tip to the right or e-mail it directly to me at dana.massing@timesnews.com.

I’ll share your tips with readers throughout the month of February, giving you credit, of course. Then I’ll randomly pick one person who submitted a tip and that person will get the gift card. Be sure to include your name and your e-mail address with your tip so I know whom to give credit to and so I can reach you if you’re the winner.
