Michaels hosting free events in January

Michaels arts and crafts stores, including the one in Millcreek Township, have a couple free events this month.

The first is a Personalized Storage Demo on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. You can learn how to use a Cricut E2 Die Cutting Machine and Cricut Vinyl to personalize your Iris storage cases, according to the Michaels website. Materials aren’t provided.

The second is a Make a Valentine Family Event on Jan. 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. Take the family and create a handmade Valentine. Materials are included for this event, while supplies last, the site says.

For more about these and other Michaels events, go to www.michaels.com. The site has a feature that will let you look up your local store and see what events are scheduled there.
