75,000 candy-filled eggs await children at free dash

Volunteers from ReaLife Assembly have filled 75,000 plastic Easter eggs with candy in preparation for Saturday’s Easter Egg Dash.

The free event begins at 10 a.m. at the football field at McDowell High School, 3580 W. 38th St., Millcreek Township.

The egg hunt for ages 2 to 5 is scheduled to begin at 10:45 a.m., with ages 6 to 10 at 11:15 a.m., organizers said. The event also will feature inflatables, games, face-painting, fire trucks and other emergency responders.
