Sue had written in recently to say she was shocked at the high price of corned beef brisket in the Erie area and was hoping to hear of a better deal in time for St. Patrick’s Day (http://www.goerieblogs.com/cheapinerie/2013/03/reader-seeks-help-finding-affordable-corned-beef/).

She wrote back to say that she found it.

“I just bought corned beef at Erie County Farms for $2.99/lb. and even saw that Aldi’s had it for $1.99/lb. which is way cheap.(Sigh of relief),” Sue said in an e-mail sent Saturday night.
