Writer giving free reading at Behrend

You can hear fiction writer Aimee Parkison, author of “Woman With Dark Horses,” tonight for free at Penn State Behrend in Harborcreek Township.

Parkison will read from her new and published works as part of the spring Creative Writers Reading Series starting at 6 p.m. in the Larry and Kathryn Smith Chapel. A reception will be held at 5:30 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public, organizers said.
