T-shirts, photo boxes on sale at Michaels

I’m hoping to get up to Michaels near the Millcreek Mall this week for a couple sale items.

The first is T-shirts. Michaels stores have them on sale for $1.97. They are regularly $3.99. The sale shirts come in multiple colors and sizes small through extra-large for adults and youth, according to the weekly ad for the stores. At that price, I can pick up some shirts to wear while doing yard work this summer and won’t care how dirty or torn they get when I’m weeding around rose bushes.

The second is photo boxes. They are about the size of a shoe box and are good for storing photos and other items. The boxes are regularly $3.99 each and are on sale this week for five for $7, according to the ad. Back before Christmas, I bought six similar boxes at another store for $10 or $12 total. So five for $7 is great. I used the other boxes for Christmas presents, filling them for friends with assorted small items like socks, gift cards, candy, etc. The recipients not only got all the goodies inside, but also a decorative box to store things in. And because the boxes are decorated, you don’t have to wrap them when giving them as gifts, which means you don’t have to buy wrapping paper.

The sale prices are good through Saturday, according to the weekly ad. To see it or learn more, go to www.michaels.com.

If you spot a good sale, send the details to me at dana.massing@timesnews.com so I can let everyone know.
