Free festival in Edinboro celebrates art, music

The four-day free Edinboro Art & Music Festival gets under way Thursday.

The event showcases grassroots art and music in the spirit of the Appalachian culture and tradition and features performances, workshops, displays and other activities at venues around Edinboro.

The festival begins Thursday at 7 p.m. and resumes Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 10 a.m. The last event on each of those days begins at 10:30 p.m. Activities Sunday start at 9 a.m., with the last beginning at 6 p.m.
