Goodell Gardens in Edinboro offering free admission

Goodell Gardens & Homestead in Edinboro is offering free admission Friday as part of National Public Gardens Day and free admission for moms Sunday for Mother’s Day.

The gardens at 221 Waterford St./Route 6N will be open both days from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., officials said.

All visitors Friday also will receive the 10 percent discount in the Garden Gift Shop that’s usually reserved just for members.

Regular admission to Goodell Gardens is $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens, $2.50 for ages 5 to 17 and free for younger, members and Edinboro University of Pennsylvania students.
