Carillon concert features free music, food

The third of four events in the Smith Carillon Concert Series at Penn State Behrend is tonight. The final performance will be Aug. 1.

Concerts begin at 7 p.m. with seating on the lawn of Smith Chapel on the Harborcreek Township campus. Take your own chairs or blankets. If it rains, the event will be moved into the chapel.

Free hot dogs and snacks will be served during the performances, organizers said.

This week’s concert will be by Tim Sleep, city carillonneur for Naperville, Ill.
