Go from trash to treasure chest in free program

Reusing old items instead of buying new ones is a way to save money.

For example, I’ve turned tin cans and glass jars into candle holders and pots for plants.

The Crawford Conservation District will host a program Tuesday on ways to “repurpose” items.

The free “Trash to Treasure Chest”¬†program runs from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Woodcock Creek Nature Center, 21742 German Road, Meadville.

Registration is required by calling (814) 763-5269. Visit http://www.crawfordconservation.com/documents/trashtotreasure.pdf to learn more.
