You can get into the Gannon University’s women’s basketball Pink Zone game today for free.

The event, which raises awareness of breast cancer, is at 1 p.m. in the Hammermill Center, 620 Peach St. Admission to the men’s basketball game, which follows at 3 p.m., also is free, according to the university’s website.

Funds raised through the sale of $15 T-shirts will benefit the Erie chapter of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Linked by Pink.

It’s Teacher Appreciation Weekend at the Erie BayHawks.

That means free tickets for teachers to the games tonight and Saturday at 7 p.m. at Erie Insurance Arena, 809 French St.

Also, according to the BayHawk’s Facebook page, you can receive a free ticket if you donate a gently used jacket to the Coats for Kids Drive.

Thursday is the second-to-last Buck Night at the Erie BayHawks. One more is coming up on March 31.

This week’s 7 p.m. game against Fort Wayne will feature $1 Smith’s hot dogs.

This Saturday is the Erie Federal Credit Union’s Night with the Erie BayHawks and the credit union has buy-one-get-one vouchers.

The coupon gets you a free main level ticket when you purchase one (prices are $10 or $15) for the 7 p.m. basketball game against the New Mexico Thunderbirds at the Tullio Arena.

Vouchers are available at any of the credit union’s seven branch offices or on the website at www.eriefcu.org under Special Offers.

And if you really love watching basketball, you’ll be happy to know the tickets also include admission to three high school games that day: McDowell vs. Corry JV boys at 2 p.m., McDowell vs. Corry varsity boys at 3:30 p.m. and Cambridge Springs vs. Saegertown varsity boys at 5 p.m., according to the credit union’s website.

Or, if you buy tickets to the high school games ($5 for students, $8 for adults, available through the schools), you get admission to the BayHawks game, according to the Tullio Arena’s website.
