Day2DayPrinting.com is giving away sets of growable Earth Day cards.

Sheetz is opening a new convenience store in the Erie area this week and the celebration includes a giveaway of $100 gift cards.

The store at 8180 Perry Highway in Summit Township officially opens Thursday at 11 a.m. But Sheetz officials said in a news release that they are expecting people to begin lining up before daybreak to be among the first 50 in line to get the gift cards.

If you like eating at Outback Steakhouse yourself or want a gift for someone else who does, now’s the time to buy.

Outback is offering a $20 bonus card for every $100 you buy in Outback gift cards.

You have to purchase your $100 worth of gift cards by Dec. 31 and the bonus card is only good from Jan. 1 to Feb. 10. Also, be warned that the free card does say “bonus card” on it, so if you plan to give it as a gift, the recipient might realize you didn’t pay for it.

But you could always keep the bonus card for yourself and give away another of the gift cards you buy. Or, if you really like to dine at Outback a lot, keep them all for yourself and you’ll get $120 worth of meals for just $100.

FedEx will give away 30,000 Shop-Small American Express gift cards worth $25 each today.

The first 30,000 qualifying consumers will get one of the gift cards, according to a news release. Another 10,000 cards will be distributed directly to FedEx customers.

The idea behind the promotion is that FedEx will give away the cards and consumers will hopefully use the money to shop at small locally-owned businesses on Nov. 26, which is Small Business Saturday.
