Subway Restaurants sent me an e-mail about a deal through the end of October.

If you buy any 6-inch sub and drink, you can get a 6-inch sub of equal or lesser price for free.

There’s a bit of a catch. The deal is good daily, but only until 9 a.m. So if you want a free sub for lunch and/or supper, you need to stop in and get it at breakfast time.

Visit www.subway.com to learn more.

Panera Bread has a new site in Erie and that means grand opening specials this week.

The restaurant at 4014 Peach St. opens Tuesday at 6:30 a.m.

Beginning at 10 a.m., the first 500 guests will receive a free coffee mug with free refills for two weeks, according to a postcard I received at home in the mail.

Later Tuesday, and again Wednesday, if you purchase a You-Pick-Two, you can receive a $5 gift card for your next visit, according to the postcard.

To learn more about Panera, visit www.panerabread.com. When I checked out the site today, it didn’t yet list the new Erie store.

Twinings of London says it’s opening its pantry to give away three complimentary tea bags to everyone who visits www.twiningsusa.com/pantry/?utm_source=YogaJournal_9_4&utm_medium=Ad&utm_campaign=Pantry2012

You are able to pick three different teas from more than 50 varieties. So this is an especially nice chance to try something new without having to pay for it.

The offer is only good while supplies last and you can only request three bags per household, the site says. After I filled in my information and hit “send my samples,” I received a checkout code that’s good for 15 percent off any online purchase through March 30.

Presque Isle Downs & Casino is celebrating the Fourth of July by giving away T-shirts in two batches on Wednesday.

The first 500 people who arrive at the casino after 9 a.m. and the first 500 at the racetrack after 4:30 p.m. will receive a complimentary T-shirt, according to a news release from the casino. The release doesn’t say what the shirts are like.

Wednesday also is Family Night at the racetrack, with $2 cheeseburgers, 2 Smith hot dogs for $2 and $2 draft beer, according to the release.

Visit www.casinoinerie.com to learn more.

Here’s a little tip for avoiding overspending if you do go to the casino or track. Don’t take more cash than you’re willing to lose and leave the ATM, credit and debit cards at home so you’re not tempted to take out more cash.

If you happen to live near a L’Occitane boutique, you’ll want to check our their free mini-facial offer running through Sunday.

I received an e-mail about the promotion, which also includes a hand massage and gift bag with creams, shampoo and conditioner.

Unfortunately for those of us in Erie, the nearest L’Occitane boutique is in Pittsburgh, according to the search I did on L’Occitane’s Facebook page.

To find a boutique and learn more about booking a free facial through the Facebook page, go to http://on.fb.me/NeCaco.
