I wouldn’t necessarily expect to find Easter items at a store called Christmas Tree Shops. But I’ve learned that although named for one holiday, the chain sells items for others.

And today, Easter items at Christmas Tree Shops are 50 percent off, according to an e-mail I received.

I’m not sure how long the sale will last. To see the ad, go to http://view.ed4.net/w/0GK8KLC/QI6H/D4BN54F/43Y8N/1/a612637ab3c7458ef622/FORMATOVERRIDE=H?camp=672619143&rrid=1187088 and scroll down to the bottom.

Or go to www.christmastreeshops.com and click on “Clearance” to shop online.

If you’re out and about today shopping or returning gifts and spot a good deal, send the details to me at dana.massing@timesnews.com and I’ll share.

Relish is throwing a weekend beach party sale at its Erie beach glass studio and gallery, 3835 W. 12th St.

Relish also is offering 20 percent off all merchandise purchased Friday through Sunday on its website, according to the postcard. Visit www.relishinc.com.

One of my favorite pieces of jewelry is a hunk of beach glass that I found in New Zealand. I took the brown glass to Relish to have a hole drilled in it so I can wear it on a necklace.
