Trout season starts Saturday in our part of Pennsylvania and children can get some help fishing that day at Presque Isle State Park.

Park naturalists and members of S.O.N.S. of Lake Erie will be at East Waterworks Pond between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. for the clinic, according to the Presque Isle calendar.

The event is free. However, participants age 16 and older must have a Pennsylvania fishing license in order to fish, organizers said.
