In honor of Presidents Day, the unofficial name for the Washington’s Birthday holiday that is on Monday, participating Subway restaurants are giving away one free cookie with any purchase per customer.

The free cookies are only available Monday while supplies last, according to Subway’s Facebook page.

Subway Restaurants sent me an e-mail about a deal through the end of October.

If you buy any 6-inch sub and drink, you can get a 6-inch sub of equal or lesser price for free.

There’s a bit of a catch. The deal is good daily, but only until 9 a.m. So if you want a free sub for lunch and/or supper, you need to stop in and get it at breakfast time.

My friend Melissa discovered this offer yesterday when shopping at the Millcreek Mall:

If you go to Customer Service at the mall and take $75 worth of receipts dated between Feb. 1 and 14 from the Millcreek Mall Complex, you’ll get a $10 voucher. That voucher is good at a Millcreek Mall Complex Max & Erma’s or Subway between Feb. 7 and 21, according to the mall website.

The offer is good while supplies last.
