Tonight’s Hadden Sayers Band show will start around 7:30 at Docksider, not a later time, as we indicated in Thursday’s Showcase. Tell your friends and anyone else who plans on going; this will be a hot show and it’s free. He’s a Texas native who currently lives in Columbus, Ohio, and is up for a Blues Music Award for Best Song of the Year for “Back to the Blues.” At one point, Sayers had two Erie musicians in his band: Ron Sutton and Jason Lewis.

Bonnie Raitt will play the Akron Civic Theatre in Akron, Ohio, on May 23. Marc Cohn will open. Tickets will go on sale Feb. 17 at www.ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000.

If Pollstar is correct, Chautauqua Amphitheater has added Bill Medley and Gary Puckett and the Union Gap for June 29. That show is not yet posted on Chautauqua’s own web site.
