This just in: Comedy legend Jerry Seinfeld will return to Erie’s Warner Theatre on April 19 at 7 p.m.
Tickets will go on sale Friday, February 24, at the Tullio Arena box office, by phone at 452-4857, and online at www.erieevents.com.
A quick check of my records shows this will be Seinfeld’s first Erie appearance since 2006.
Ticket prices will be $78, $63 and $48.
Chautauqua Institution has confirmed Bill Medley (Righteous Brothers) and Gary Puckett and the Union Gap for June 29. Tickets for all amphitheater specials, including kd lang, Diana Krall, Roger Hodgson, Vince Gill and more, will go on sale March 5 at www.ciweb.org.
Train’s “Drive By” inches up to No. 11 on the latest Billboard Adult Pop chart. It still has a bullet, so it’s gaining momentum.
Cool news from the Erie Art Museum: Edinboro filmmaker John C. Lyons will curate a summer film series in the museum’s Multipurpose Room. He plans an eclectic program for both casual viewers and cinephiles. The series will kick off on June 6; films are yet to be announced. Admission will be free but a donations will be accepted. Beer, wine and snacks will be available during the films.
